Who we are
JP Automations Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a small business that builds custom automation and workflow systems. We’re responsible for the personal information described in this policy. It applies to information collected through jpautomationsservices.com (the “Website”) and through emails and conversations that start from it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form or email us, we receive:
- your name, business name, and email address;
- if you choose to provide them, your phone number and website;
- the type of help you’re looking for and your description of the process you’d like to improve;
- anything else you include in your messages to us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and the date and time of the request. This is used to deliver the Website, keep it secure, and fix problems. We don’t use it to identify you or build a profile of you.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry and follow up about your request;
- understand your workflow and prepare recommendations or proposals;
- deliver, support, and improve Services you’ve engaged us for;
- keep business records, such as correspondence and invoices;
- protect the Website against spam, abuse, and security threats;
- comply with legal obligations.
We don’t send marketing newsletters, and we won’t add you to a mailing list without your clear permission.
Client data in projects
When we build or support a workflow, we may need access to your business systems and the data in them, which can include information about your own customers. In that work:
- we access only the systems and data needed for the agreed work;
- we use that data only to build, test, and support your workflow;
- we don’t copy it into our own systems except where the work requires it;
- we return or delete it at the end of the engagement, on request.
You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to share that data with us. Specific data handling requirements can be set out in your Project Agreement.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you get in touch again. For clients, we keep project records for as long as needed to provide support and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and limiting access to the people who need it. No website, email service, or storage system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we’ll notify you as required by law.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that’s inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons;
- stop contacting you.
Depending on where you live, including some U.S. states, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. We’ll honor requests as those laws require, and we won’t treat you differently for making one. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
